At mid August 2010 Jayne and I
loaded the motorcycles to participate at a Horizons
Unlimited Meeting in orthern California
at the 'Lost Coast'. This was Jayne's first
bigger trip on her own motorcycle. More photos
from the trip and the meeting are HERE.

Ferndale, California,
consists for the most part of old western and
victorian houses, beautiful and absolutely worth
a visit. |

The ride along the California
coast was really nice at beautiful
weather.
Jayne was (as a new rider) not
really happy with the road conditions.

The Humboldt Redwoods State
Park is just amazing with its huge trees.
Of course I couldn't miss to drive
through a tree.

In June 2011 we did a daytrip to Mount
Saint Helens. The eruption was now 30
years ago, but the damage is still quite
obvious. Also the trees in the area are still
laying in the direction of the blast. |

In August 2011 we rode as a
weekend trip to Crater Lake in southern
Oregon. More photos HERE.
If one doesn't stand right next
to the cliff one can not see the lake, but
only a mountain. This is also the reason why
the lake was discovered quite late. This
crater was created by volcanic eruptions like
so much in this area.
