North American Africa Twin Summit
The NAATS 2010 (North American Africa Twin Summit) was at end of July in Oregon. We had 12 participants, among them one Transalp and one BMW. The meeting was over one week in which we rode about 500 miles through south east Oregon, on roads and off road. More photos HERE. North American Africa Twin Summit

Humboldt Redwoods State Park
The Humboldt Redwoods State Park is just amazing with its huge trees.

Of course I couldn't miss to drive through a tree.

Mount Saint Helens
In June 2011 we did a daytrip to Mount Saint Helens. The eruption was now 30 years ago, but the damage is still quite obvious. Also the trees in the area are still laying in the direction of the blast. Mount Saint Helens
Crater Lake
In August 2011 we rode as a weekend trip to Crater Lake in southern Oregon. More photos HERE.

If one doesn't stand right next to the cliff one can not see the lake, but only a mountain. This is also the reason why the lake was discovered quite late. This crater was created by volcanic eruptions like so much in this area.
