We crossed into Montana,
but not for long, and then rode back into
Idaho. |

|
Since I'm a volunteer firefighter
and had just finished reading "The
Big Burn", we couldn't pass Wallace
Idaho without stopping. The museum is mostly
about mining, not about the fire, but it's still
worth going. They also have on display what is
believed to be the original
Pulaski tool. |

The town of Wallace,
ID is quite nice with lots of shops and
restaurants. The local brewery is quite good
too, |
|
|
|
We continued west until Coeur
d'Arlene Lake and then headed south
again. |
|
|
|
Surprise, or not, the road lead
through a nice canyon
again. |
|
|
|
We briefly jumped into Washington
State to see some petroglyphs at Buffalo
Eddy. The road there went through yet
another canyon.
