The pit toilets ate the wildlife
refuge had lots of bird nests on it and the
birds protested loudly when we used the
toilet. The road to the camp site is a few
miles of gravel. |

Then we dropped down back into Oregon.
South eatern Oregon is quite empty too and not
much different from Nevada. |
|
|
|
We rode further on Oregon state
route 140 past steaming hot springs and twisting
dirt devils. Then we stopped in 'one horse' Adel
for gas. Out here you have to stop at every
oportunity to get gas.

After riding te Oregon
Outback Scenic Byway we camped the last
night out in the Willamette National Forest
before heading home the next day. |
