My rear
tire was quite worn before we started
in Oregon but it was still good enough for the
Interstate ride to Moab, so I pre-ordered a
new tire and got it changed when we got there.
Surprisingly there is no real motorcycle shop
in Moab, plenty of motorcycle rental places,
but no real shop. |

Not far outside of Moab are some
outstanding Petroglyphs
on state route 279, towards Potash, and even Dinosaur Tracks. |

|
We decided to give the Potash
Road a try, leading a backway into the
Canyonlands National Park. Some off-road
experience is required. |

|
The Potash Road goes through the
cayon that most tourist only see from above from
Dead Horse State Park. |
|
|
|
Potash Road offers many beautiful
views, further down into the canyon and up the
steep cliffs. |

Left photo taken next to "Thelma
and Louise Point".
Rightt photo
shows a very rough part of the Potash road,
which is right at the edge of the cliff -
scary..
