Of course we couldn't miss to
visit Teotihuacan. Left: The Moon
Pyramid seen from the Sun Pyramid.
Right: We in front of the Moon Pyramid.
Climbing up is hard work on the steep stairs
and in the thin air of nearly 3000m / 9800
feet.

If one comes during the week in
the morning one is nearly alone in the large
area of Teotihuacan.
The Quetzalcoatl Pyramid
is a little hidden behind another pyramid, but
it absolutely worth seeing.

|
|
|
The front of the Quetzalcoatl
Pyramid is in good conditions and
absolutely stunning.
Only a few hundred meters from
the pyramids one can visit several ruin
buildings with wall paintings in good
conditions..

These ruins are really not far
away, but no busses drive here, therefore we
were alone with these stunning wall
paintings. |

The downtown cathedral of
Mexico City. If you wonder where the gold of the
Inka went only needs to go into one of the many
churches here, or even better, go to any
catholic church in Spain - when I see this I get
angry every time! A complete culture and their
remains destroyed - to make catholic idols,
really great! |
