The cemetery Christobal Colon,
alo called Necropolis de Christobal Colon. It is
famous for it's many statues and over 500
mausoleums.
On the last day in Havana, Cuba
two huge cruise ships arrived at the
port and spilled thousands of tourists into old
town Havana. Many of the small streets that we
had enjoyed to stroll along, were now clogged
with tourists. All restaurants and bars were
overrun and had long lines. One more reason why
we hate cruise ships.
The ingenuity of the Cubans
is stunning, but sometimes not really safe. This
was the home made automatic door opener at our
guest house. It works, but the self made 110V
solenoid is better not touched.
