Havana, Cuba
We walked miles and limes all over Havana, Cuba, especially through old town Havana. We enjoyed very much walking through the small side streets where only few tourists go.There are so many small restaurants and bars along these streets, more than one can possibly eat or drink.

Fort of Carlos of the Cabin
We often looked at the castle across the river. Then we decided to go and took a taxi to drive us through the tunnel under the river to the castle. From there we had a great view of old town Havana.

The castle, Fort of Carlos of the Cabin, is quite nice. We enjoyed walking around and exploring it.

It turned out that we were not alone. There was a huge international book fair in the fort, that we didn;t know about. On the upside there were lots of vendors and food stalls that normally are not there.

Even though it was quite crowded, it was nice to see that the locals are very interested in books. There also were areas in the huge fort that were nearly empty.
