| The best time to go to Kentucky is certainly NOT
the summer. Then it is much too warm and the humidity kills you (at
least me).
The road conditions are relatively good, but there are some
deep pot holes too, that one has to watch out for. Especially on the
Interstates there are often bad stretches that remind one of Eastern
Europe.
The language is ofcourse English, but the widely used southern
dialect does often make it hard to understand locals.
About safety I can only say that everybody is allowed to carry
a gun, and many do. So far I haven't seen any, and I hope it stays this
way. Some of the traffic rules are different from the rules in
