The VIN-inspection at the state
troopers. My friend had a few more
European motorcycles that he wanted to get
inspected and then titled for another friend of
his. |

During the odyssey with
VIN-inspection, assessment, insurance, ... I
got to see a bit of Colorado Springs.
It is a nice city.
I can recommend Uwe's
German Restaurant, inexpensive and
good! (31 N. Iowa Ave.)

The landscape in Nebraska
really hasn't much to offer, actually nothing at
all.
Real Cowboys on horses,
not in helicopters or on dirt bikes, as often
seen.

The only attraction in Nebraska: CARHENGE
near Alliance, NE. Like Stonehenge, but with
cars. |

In South Dakota I drove
through the Custer State Park and the Black
Hills.
My first Buffalo! While taking the
photo, I kept the bike in first gear to be
able to take off at any moment, if needed.
These animals are huge, and some are quite
aggressive, I heard.

While I was here, I had to take a
photo of the Crazy Horse Monument
(left) and Mount Rushmore (right). |

Sturgis, SD is a really
small and boring town, but once a year they get
300,000 -500,000 visitors for the motorcycle
meeting (nearly all Harleys).
And then further on through Wyoming.
